A new feature on the View screen gives you more options for copying data grid information for external purposes, such as pasting into Excel.

Now you can either copy all the data or pick and choose only the data you need.

You can also configure and save two different selection sets for ready access, so you can quickly get the data you need for different purposes.

When a job is open, access this feature on the View screen by right clicking on the gray header row in the data grid.

A new feature allows you to classify jobs with greater flexibility. This feature reduces the number of jobs in the Quotes folder, which makes the screen load faster and allows you to quickly find a particular job inside the Quotes folder.

Previously, the Archive folder was your only option for storing completed jobs. The Archive folder is still there, but now you can create new folders, giving them names that are useful to you, and use them for storing jobs, similar to the Archive folder.

The Incremental Part Override Tool allows you to use stair-step (nonlinear) sequences for Product Code, Price, and Cost for incremental parts. It also allows you to set the Preference Level for individual incremental parts.

Access this tool by clicking the Tools button at the bottom of the Inventory Browser on the Stock screen.

On the Stock screen, the Inventory browser alerts you when a particular part has an override. When present, Incremental Override prices, costs, and product codes will be used when building structures.

You can quickly check and/or change any override that has been set.

A new tool, the Contractor List, makes it easy to maintain consistency in the contractor names assigned to jobs. You can access this list on the Quote -> Name Screen.

On the Name Screen, the "Customer Information" fields at the top have been updated to a grid layout. 

The Contractor line has a link titled "Select," which opens the Contractor List window. 

Here you can quickly select a name to be used as the contractor name in the job. You can also use the controls to add or remove names as needed.

An important benefit: This list of names is stored in the Configuration Path location. When you add or remove names from the list, those changes are immediately available to all STACK-IT users on your team.

Another benefit is that you can copy a list of names from a text file or Excel worksheet, and easily paste them into the Contractor List from the clipboard.

This new tool is particularly beneficial when you send data beyond STACK-IT to Precast Studio or to your financial system, where the names must be exact.

A major new tool, Replacer, allows you to make large-scale changes quickly, across an entire job file. When a customer makes changes, such as the pipes to use on a job, you can make the change on many structures at once rather than one at a time.

The Replace button is located on the Quote screen. It opens the Replacer screen, which is also the new home of the Stack-All button.

Another important benefit of the Replacer tool is that it allows you to update older files that have not kept up with changes in your Stock or Relate files.

You can now set prices and costs for your stock quickly using the new Stock Price Tool.

There are several methods for calculating the new price or cost values. These include applying a percentage to update your prices as well as setting prices using $/Ton and $/Yard methods.

We have included a couple 2-minute videos to get you familiar with how this new tool works.

At long last, you can now show the seam (joint) profile in Side Views and Flat Patterns. They are visible on the Quote screen and on printouts.

A new tool is now available on the Stock screen to configure the seam profiles, such setting the T&G profiles and the height of the profile for each different part size.

The Relate screen has come major new tools for updating multiple relates without having to go to each individual relate to make changes. You can find a particular relate quickly even with only a fragment of the spec, type or size.

The Find and Replace tools really speed up the process of updating your relates when you are managing your Stock data and want to change component names for parts.

Additionally, you can easily rename or duplicate (clone) entire specifications or types to quickly create a set of relates for a new customer without having to create them one at a time.

All assembly positions now have an "On" check box on the Components panel (replaces the old None selection). This makes it easier to utilize the new seam profiles. Particularly where a structure may require changing between flat and jointed bases or risers.

The process of loading the relate default settings on the Quote - Build screen has been updated to allow you to reset some settings to the default while keeping other settings in their current state.

Clicking the Load Default button displays a dialog box with a check list of the items that can be reset to default values. Simply leave the items checked you want to reset and clear the checks for items you want to leave alone.

The Stock screen has received some newer buttons for a little more updated look.

A new Tools palette has been added that brings together several old and new stock related tools in common location.

The Stock Import screen has been totally rebuilt for flexibility and ease of use.

This screen is used to update price, cost and many other values in the Stock database. The data can be pasted from the clipboard or imported from a CSV file, making it much easier to maintain and update pricing in Stack-it.

Flat Pattern and Side View page objects now draw the seam profiles. If you set all parts to 'Flat' profiles, drawings will appear the same as they have in the past.

The Part ID page object has new Part Info elements you can add to report layouts.

A new Structure Data Import tool is available allowing structure data to be captured in a spreadsheet and the imported into Stack-It.

Quote files are now archived in the Quote Open screen with a simple right-click, sending seldom needed or past jobs to an archive location. You can also open an archived file directly or return it to the active quotes.

You get the advantages of keeping the active list small and organized, for speed and ease of use, and at the same time easily access those long term files with a simple switch.

When using the Data Grid page object on part based page layouts, it has included the invert information for only the inverts that penetrated the part. Now you can choose the "Level of Detail" to be only the inverts entering the part or all inverts and the Rim  and Reducer elevations.

Detail images can be included on quote printouts to show details for a specific part or type of structure.

You can now set a detail image for a Stock part or for a Relationship. The detail image can be added to a report layout using the new 'Image' page object.

This new Image page object replaces the older Logo page object.

When you set a status for structures on the Quote View screen, you can filter the list of structures on the Quote Print screen to display only the structures with the status of interest. Multiple status values can be selected for the filter.

The View screen can be searched for a structure or line item by name. To use the Find feature, click the 'Hide' button to hide the graphic display and display the Find box.

Pipe Outlines can now be included on Flat Pattern drawing objects. You can enable or disable the pipe outlines by editing the layout configuration and selecting the desired setting.

When the update is first downloaded, the pipe outlines will be enabled for structure type pages and disabled for part type pages.

Part styles for "Pipe_Arch" and "Connector_Arch" have been added. These part styles work the same as other pipe part styles and will generate arch pipe and connector outlines on the printed drawings.

Print layouts can now be set to one of three page sizes, 8.5"x11", 11"x17" and 4"x6". The margin space can now be set from none to 3/4".

The list of structures on the Quote Print screen have been enhanced to include the structure's status (as set on the View screen). The mechanics of selecting the structures to be previewed and printed has also been expanded.

New features to Slide, Copy and Paste the need dates for job parts has been added to the Quote - Prod screen.

When using QR Codes on a structure type page layout, you can now include a list of the part product codes for the concrete parts.
