Quick Build - Structure Data Import - Data Separator

When copying from a spreadsheet, choose the Tab data separator.

To import from a CSV file the options are:

1.Open the CSV file in a spreadsheet and copy / paste using the Tab separator.
2.Open the CSV file in a text editor (Notepad) and copy / paste using the Comma separator.

Quick Build - Structure Data Import - Existing Structure

The Update Existing option allows imported data to make changes to existing structures. If this option is unchecked, existing structures will not be changed.

When the Update existing option is checked, the Clear Inverts option will remove any inverts in the existing structure that are not in the imported data. This makes it possible to make the resulting structure match the imported data.

Example

This example illustrates

Creating or updating structures MH 01 and MH 02
Importing only the Rim, Invert Elevations and Angles. Pipe selection must be made later in STACK-IT.
If Update Existing is checked and Clear Inverts is checked, MH 01 will end up with only one invert, even if it had more than one befire importing.
