How To

This work-flow describes the process of creating multiple folders to organize your quote files.

To prepare for organizing quote files, we will set the Quote Path. Then we can create multiple subfolders and send quote files to any of the folders we have created.

PREPARATION

Do this ...

Set the Quote Path

•	Go to the Admin > Path screen

•	Click the "Open" button to the right of the Quote Path bar to display the active Quotes folder

•	Create one or more subfolders within the Quotes folder

•	Close the Quotes folder

•	Dismiss the Path Selection screen

Note: Give each new folder a unique name that is useful to you, such as "Active Jobs," "2024," "Favorite Clients," or "Pending."

Do this ...

Browse the list of available folders

File Selector - Quotes-Archive

•	Go to the Quote > Open screen

•	Pull down the directory selection list in the upper-left corner to view the list of available folders

•	Click any folder to set the active location

The job list will be refreshed to show the jobs in the new active location.

Notes:

1.	Any new folders you have created within the Quotes folder will automatically appear in the directory selection list.

2.	The view will always return to the Quotes view the next time the screen is opened.

Select a quote file

•	Select one or more quote files in the job list

•	Right click on one of the selected files; a pop-up menu of folder options will appear

•	Select the appropriate folder to send the quote file(s) to the selected folder
