How To

This work-flow describes the process of replacing Relates, Pipes, and Rim Parts in multiple structures.

To prepare for replacing these items, we will click the Replace button on the Quote screen.

PREPARATION

Do this ...

Open the Replacer screen

•	Go to the Quote > Replacer screen

•	Click the Relates, Pipes, or Rim tab at left to open the controls for the item(s) you are replacing.

REPLACING RELATES

Do this ...

Click the Relates button on the left of the screen to open the controls for Relates.

1.	Select the relate that's currently in use, shown in the In Use table.

2.	Select the replacement relate from the lists at the top of the panel (starting with the list on the left).

3.	Select the structure(s) to be changed in the Structures panel.

4.	Click the Replace button.

5.	Click the Stack-All Now button to restack the changed structures.

REPLACING PIPES

AND CONNECTORS

Do this ...

Click the Pipes button on the left of the screen to open the controls for pipes and connectors.

1.	Select the pipe-and-connector combination that's currently in use, shown in the In Use table.

2.	Select the replacement pipe-and-connector from the lists at the top of the panel (starting with the list on the left).

3.	Select the structure(s) to be changed in the Structures panel.

4.	Click the Replace button.

5.	Click the Stack-All Now button to restack the changed structures.

REPLACING RIM PARTS

Do this ...

Click the Rim button on the left of the screen to open the controls for rim parts.

Note: If you are replacing both Rim 1 and Rim 2, always replace Rim 2 first.

1.	Click the radio button to choose which position, Rim 1 or Rim 2, is to be changed.

2.	Set the checkboxes to determine whether the replacement parts should match the size up and/or the height of the original part.

3.	Select the rim part that's currently in use, shown in the In-Use table.

4.	Select the replacement rim part in the list at the top.

5.	Select the structure(s) to be changed in the Structures panel.

6.	Click the Replace button.

7.	Click the Stack-All Now button to restack the changed structures.

RESPONDING TO ALERTS

Do this ...

When alerts occur. . .

Alerts can appear for a variety of reasons. They are indicated by a salmon-colored background where action may be necessary.
