The Guard Band feature instructs STACK-IT to attempt to find a solution that does not require positioning pipes in the designated areas.
When it is not possible to avoid this area entirely, the structure that uses the least amount of this guard band area will be selected.
Set the Guard Band values in the Relate - General Options.
Upper and Lower Guard Bands may be set to different values.
Set the value to 0 (zero) to turn this feature off.
Each assembly position in Relate has a Collision Detection setting that controls whether collision alerts are displayed or not.
Guard Band Upper
The Guard Band Upper setting specifies the distance from the top of a concrete piece that is to be considered as a seam collision.
Guard Band Lower
The Guard Band Lower setting specifies the distance from the bottom of a concrete piece that is to be considered as the seam collision.
