Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The function of the Price Method Data field depends on what Price Method is selected.

Sum of Parts

No Price Method Data is used.

Base + Sum of Parts

The Price Method Data specifies the base price.

Minimum + Footage

The price method data specifies several pieces of the information.

The Height Units determines whether the breakpoint height is in inches, feet, meters, or millimeters.

The Breakpoint specifies the tallest structure that is charged the minimum price.

The Minimum field specifies the minimum price.

The Extra field specifies the price for every additional unit of a height.

Example:

Assume structures from 0 to 6 ft. tall are a flat fee of $300, and every additional foot over 6 ft. is $62 per foot.

The Price Method Data settings would be as follows:

The Height Units will be feet (ft), the Breakpoint will be set to 6 ft., the Minimum will be set to $300, and the Extra will be set to $62.
