The Catch Elevation option controls the location that will be used as the high point in measuring the amount of catch. Selecting Pipe will start catch measurements at the pipe bottom (flow line), while selecting Hole will start measuring from the bottom of the hole cutout.

 

If the Floor Reference is set to Pipe, setting the Catch Reference to Hole will prompt STACK-IT to also set the Floor Reference to Hole. Otherwise it would be possible for the catch depth to be less than zero.
