The Radial Flat Pattern page object is used to display a Radial Flat Pattern (or “butterfly”) drawing of rectangular parts. The drawing provides a view of the rectangular part from above, with each wall falling outward. The inverts penetrating each wall are drawn similarly to how they appear in a normal flat pattern drawing.

 

This drawing type is only applicable for rectangular parts. For circular parts, a standard Top View drawing will be drawn.
